Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stamped "PAUL : CUSHMAN", Albany, NY origin, circa 1810, ovoid jug with tooled spout, featuring the large coggled signature, "PAUL : CUSHMAN" across the midsection. Decorated above with stylized cobalt brushwork. Cobalt highlights to the handle terminals. Restored handle. A large network of sealed and colored cracks emanating from base on jug's right side. A small flake to bottom edge of spout molding. A few very minor base chips.
