Fine Miniature Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, New York State origin, circa 1830, ovoid jug with pronounced, semi-rounded spout, decorated with a large brushed design of an open-center tulip with stamens, extending from a leafy stem. Exceptional size with good color. Excellent condition with a minor in-the-firing contact mark to spout and a small in-the-firing chip to handle and some minor in-the-firing base wear. H 3 3/4".
