Ten-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jar, attributed to Burlon B. Craig at the Neely Blackburn Pottery, Catawba Valley, NC, circa 1935, large-sized cylindrical jar with thin, semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, the surface covered in a dark-olive alkaline glaze. Impressed "10" under each handle and "10" on the front and reverse shoulder. A shallow 1 1/8" chip to one handle. Otherwise excellent condition. H 21".
