Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "RICHEY & HAMILTON. / PALATINE. / W.VA.", circa 1875, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and semi-rounded rim, featuring Richey & Hamilton maker's stenciling, a stenciled "2", various stenciled flourishes, and a freehand stripe below rim. Very nice condition with a base chip on right side.
