Half-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, attributed to G. & A. Black, Somerfield, PA, circa 1865, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and squared rim, decorated around the shoulder with a series of six brushed flower blossoms resembling deer hooves. Some shallow chipping to base, part of which is glazed over. A 3 1/2" hairline from rim.
