Half-Gallon Stoneware Butter Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, probably NJ origin, circa 1855, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder and applied lug handles, slip-trailed with a stylized floral motif featuring a looping stem, accented with various flourishes. Slip-trailed "1/2 G.". Excellent condition with some water glass staining to surface.
