One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to B.C. Milburn, Alexandria, VA, circa 1850, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied tab handles, decorated on the front with two slip-trailed tulips and on the reverse with a series of three scalloped slip-trailed lines. Excellent condition with a 7/8" glazed-over base flake and a minor base chip.
