Rare Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Cake Crock, Stamped "H. MYERS," Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1825, with rounded foot, tooled shoulder, and applied lug handles, decorated on the front and back with an exuberant "four-leaf clover" decoration extending from handle to handle. Additional cobalt drape design under each handle. Impressed below the rim with a rare small-sized variation of the maker's mark "H. MYERS." Two rim chips. H 5 3/4" ; D 9 1/2".
