Two Pieces of Salt-Glazed Stoneware, Southern origin, late 19th or early 20th century, an ovoid vase with flared collar and dipped iron slip decoration, paired with a two-gallon jar with incised line decoration and incised "2" at shoulder, the surface with possible iron-oxide wash. Vase in excellent, essentially as-made condition. Jar in excellent condition with a small base chip. H (of vase) 9 1/2".
