Rare Glazed Redware Rundlet, attributed to Jacob Medinger, Limerick Township, Montgomery County, PA, late 19th or early 20th century, diminutive, ovoid keg with a pierced opening in top and one end, resting on two shallow, applied feet, the surface decorated with incised wooden staves, each end embellished with coggled edges. Incised "1 B" on one end. Surface decorated with manganese over a mottled olive ground with orange accents and covered in a clear lead glaze. In-the-firing damage to feet. A minor chip to coggling on one end and other very minor wear to coggling on each end. L 4 1/2".
