Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Impressed Hearts Decoration, Stamped "CHARLESTOWN", attributed to Frederick Carpenter, Charlestown, MA, circa 1825, ovoid jug with tooled shoulder and rounded spout, impressed at the shoulder with three hearts for three gallons. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with a shallow flake to top of spout.
