Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Lids, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1875, one with three foliate motifs and one decorated with five groups of swags. Foliate-decorated lid with large chips to flange on underside and a recessed in-the-making section to knob. Swag-decorated lid with a 2 3/4" chipped section to flange on underside and a hairline to top. Diameter (of larger lid) 10 5/8".
