Quart-Sized Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Henry Harrison Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1830, small-sized, cylindrical jar with rounded rim, decorated around the shoulder with a brushed stem bearing leaves and circular, open-centered blossoms. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with a 1/2" in-the-firing chip to underside, a smooth 5/8" in-the-firing contact mark to shoulder, and a slightly-slumped rim.
