Rare Shenandoah Valley Redware Cream Pitcher with Copper Glaze, attributed to S. Bell & Sons or J. Eberly & Co., Strasburg, VA, circa 1890, ovoid pitcher with footed base, tooled shoulder, and flared collar, the surface decorated throughout with a striking mottled lead-and-copper glaze. Wear to rim. Light wear to handle and shoulder molding. Minor base wear including a faint horizontal line to base. H 7 1/4".
