Shenandoah Valley Miniature Redware Pitcher, Strasburg, VA, circa 1890, ovoid pitcher with footed base and flared collar, the surface decorated with shades of cream, green, and brown and covered in a clear lead glaze. Exceptional size. Thin crack through handle. A large flake to left edge of spout. A flake to interior of rim on right side. A small chip to exterior of right side of rim. H 4 3/4".
