Glazed Redware Rundlet with Elaborate Incised Inscription, probably PA origin, 19th century, wheel-thrown keg form with tooled banding and footed base, one side with a long incised inscription (presumably about drinking), including the words "You better go / see a doctor". Surface covered in a lead-and-manganese glaze. Includes wooden spigot. Very nice condition with small edge chips. Most of inscription is difficult-to-read or illegible. H 5 3/4" ; L 6 3/4".
