Glazed Redware Jug, Stamped "JOHN BELL", Waynesboro, PA origin, circa 1840-1880, approximately one-half gallon ovoid jug, the surface covered in a clear lead glaze over a mottled yellowish ground. Very nice condition, the spout with some short, tight cracks, as well as a small worn area to edge of spout. Base with minor nick. H 8".
