Fine Tanware Pitcher, New Geneva or Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1885, ovoid pitcher with tall, flaring collar and high-arching strap handle, the body decorated in Albany slip with three vertically-brushed fuchsia designs, emanating from a freehand stripe. Collar profusely-decorated with horizontal flowers flanking a central vine, applied between graduated swags and two freehand stripes. Albany slip stripes to handle and highlights to handle terminals. Excellent condition with a very faint Y-shaped line on underside. H 6 3/8".
