One-Gallon Salisbury, MD Stoneware Advertising Jug, Stamped "P. HERRMANN", Baltimore, MD, circa 1875, cylindrical jug with tooled spout, featuring the impressed and cobalt-highlighted advertising, "FROM / A F PARSONS / LIQUOR DEALER / SALISBURY / MD". Impressed with Peter Herrmann maker's mark above. Thin cracks throughout. A small chip to reverse side of spout.
