One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher attributed to Henry Harrison Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1860, thin-walled, highly-ovoid pitcher with footed base and tooled collar, decorated with a two large tulips extending up the front. Collar decorated with graduated swags. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Excellent form. An approximately 2 1/2" area of restoration to base. Restoration to spout. A 1/2" reglued flake to rim. Two long drips of staining to handle, extending to base.
