Three-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "KELIN / & / HARBAUGH", Beaver, PA origin, circa 1870, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder, flattened rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed design of a central stem bearing two open-petaled flowers, applied over slip-coated clay. Brushed cobalt highlights to maker's mark and handle terminals. A 5 1/2" crack from rim on reverse. A small chip to interior of rim. Chipping to right handle.
