Three-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar with Coggled Bird-and-Leaf Motif, attributed to Branch Green, Philadelphia, PA or Old Bridge, NJ origin, first quarter 19th century, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, rounded rim, and applied lug handles, the shoulder decorated with a coggled bird-and-leaf motif, brushed over in cobalt slip. Additional brushed cobalt highlights running above handles. Excellent condition with some light chipping to base.
