Rare Quart-Sized Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stenciled "E.B. TAYLOR / Richmond, Va.", attributed to A.P. Donaghho, Parkersburg, WV, circa 1880, ovoid jug with tooled spout, decorated with diagonal E.B. Taylor merchant stenciling. Exceptional size. Excellent condition with a chip to interior of spout, an in-the-firing chip to underside, a small in-the-firing contact mark to shoulder, and staining to surface. H 7 1/4".
