Scarce Shenandoah Valley Multi-Glazed Redware Jug, attributed to J. Eberly & Co., Strasburg, VA, circa 1890, ovoid jug with tooled spout, decorated with streaks of green, cream, and brown over an olive ground, the surface covered in a clear lead glaze. Desirable form with unusual color. An in-the-firing 5/8" flake to handle. Some clay residue to underside. A minor spout chip. Some light surface wear to shoulder area. H 6 1/4".
