Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Face Jar with Lid, Stamped "B.B. CRAIG / VALE, N.C.", early fourth quarter 20th century, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, tall collar, and applied lug handles, the front featuring an applied clay face with china teeth. Includes original lid. Surface covered in a green alkaline glaze. Underside impressed with B.B. Craig maker's mark. Excellent condition to jar. Lid with a firing crack to underside, visible as a line on top. H (including lid) 9 1/2".
