One-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug, attributed to Lucius Jordan, Washington, GA, third quarter 19th century, ovoid jug with footed base, tooled spout, and throw lines throughout, the surface covered in a mottled olive and brown alkaline glaze. Very nice condition with one spout chip and a 1/2" in-the-firing line at lower handle terminal.
