Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jar, Stenciled "A. CONRAD / NEW GENEVA, PA", circa 1875, large-sized, tapered canning jar with tooled shoulder and semi-squared "wax sealer" rim, the front featuring Alexander Conrad maker's stenciling, flanked by stenciled roses and surrounded by other small stenciled floral motifs. Chips to rim and inner wax sealer rim. H 9 3/4".
