One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to R.J. Grier, Chester Co., PA, circa 1865, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and semi-squared rim, decorated around the body with three vertically-brushed floral motifs. Good color for this maker. Excellent, essentially as-made condition.
