Redware Plate with Stamped Yellow Slip Decoration, Huntington, Long Island, NY origin, circa 1807-1860, with coggled edge, the interior decorated in yellow slip with elaborate stamped design resembling a sun with scrolled rays and crossed details to interior. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market example, from a long-term Wilmington, DE collection. A thin 3 3/4" crack from edge and a tight 3 1/4" line from edge. Some wear to interior. Diameter 11 3/8".
