Three Pieces of Stenciled Stoneware, American, late 19th century, a canning jar with "wax sealer" rim and unusual misspelled maker's mark, stenciled "A.P. Donoghho,(sic) / Parkersburg, W. Va."; a five-gallon double-handled jug with cobalt "5" flanked by flourishes, probably Donaghho, Parkersburg, WV; and a Bristol-slip-glazed jug with cobalt advertising for "FRD SCHWARTZ & BRO / PLYMOUTH, PA", stamped "JAMES RYAN / PITTSTON, PA." Canning jar with chips to interior of rim, two small in-the-firing contact marks at base on reverse, and some scratches to surface. Five-gallon jug with some in-the-firing residue drips to front and some light surface wear. Plymouth, PA jug with crude restoration to spout, extending partway onto handle, as well as two crudely-patched spots at base and some in-the-firing crazing.
