Three Stoneware Canning Jars with Cobalt Stripe Decoration, Western PA and WV origin, circa 1875, each of different form with wax sealer rim, decorated with three freehand stripes. Provenance: Collection of Lorren Lambert, Staunton, VA. Tallest with significant restoration, not affecting decoration, as well as some unrestored chips. Cylindrical jar with large unrestored chips to inner wax sealer rim and a small chip and two minor nicks to interior of rim. Semi-ovoid jar with tight cracks in front. H (of tallest) 8 1/4".
