Unusual Redware with Incised Deer Decoration, attributed to Jacob Medinger, Limerick Township, Montgomery County, Pa, early 20th century, with coggled edge, the interior decorated with an incised design of a tulip plant flanking a leaping deer, below a four-petaled floral motif. Copper decoration throughout interior and manganese highlight surrounding rim area, the interior surface covered in a clear lead glaze. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. Diameter 8 3/4".
