Three Manganese-Decorated Redware Jars, Pennsylvania origin, circa 1875, all of ovoid form with footed base, tooled shoulders, and applied handles, decorated with splashes of manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Provenance: Dr. Raymond L. Owen Collection. One with hairline descending from area below handle and onto underside. All in otherwise very good to excellent condition. H (of tallest) 6".
