Four-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Abial Price, Matawan, NJ or possibly Ingell Family, Taunton, MA, second quarter 19th century 19th century, ovoid jug with heavily-tooled shoulder, the front decorated with a large brushed tulip underscored by scrolled leaves. Brushed cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Restored handle. Two minor, post-firing base chips and other minor, in-the-firing base chips.
