Stoneware Jar with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to E.B. Hyssong, Cassville, PA, mid 19th century, approximately three-quart, ovoid jar with ribbed lug handles, tooled shoulder, and squared rim, decorated on the front and reverse with a horizontal stem bearing large graduated swags and differently-styled tulip blossoms. Brushed cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Provenance: From an over forty-year private collection. A 1 3/4" rim chip and a 1" flake to rim.
