Two Pieces of New York State, third quarter 19th century, a six-gallon crock with slip-trailed double-bird motif, stamped "S. HART / FULTON", paired with a three-gallon crock with slip-trailed chicken pecking corn motif. Fulton crock missing one handle, with two cracks from rim and exfoliation. Chicken pecking corn crock with large rim chips, three cracks from rim, which include a possible 3 1/4" x 3 3/4" reglued wedge on front, and staining to surface.
