Two Pieces of Stoneware with Cobalt Bird Decorations, New York State origin, circa 1875-1885, a two-gallon jug with large slip-trailed bird-on-branch motif, stamped "WEST TROY. / POTTERY.", paired with a four-gallon crock with brushed and slip-trailed paddletailed bird decoration, stamped "N.A. WHITE & SON, / UTICA, N.Y.". Jug with restoration to spout, a tight line across underside, and two small base chips. Crock with exfoliation, primarily to front shoulder area, a 1" crack in rim, and restoration to underside.
