Four Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jars, Stenciled "A.P. Donaghho, / Parkersburg, WV", circa 1880, two of squat "top hat" form, paired with two others, stenciled with various A.P. Donaghho maker's marks. Shortest with heavily-painted crack from shoulder to underside, a crack with shallow chipping to exterior of rim, and small chips and wear to interior of rim and inner canning jar rim. Second shortest with chips to interior of rim and inner canning jar rim, as well as a small glazed-over chip to exterior of rim. Third shortest jar with significant painted restoration. Tallest with Albany slip residue to rim and small chips to rim area, some of which occurred in the firing. H (of shortest) 5 3/8".
