Three Brown Brothers, Huntington, Long Island, NY Stoneware Crocks, circa 1863-1905, two one-and-a-half-gallon crocks with cobalt floral decorations and different "BROWN BROTHERS" maker's mark, together with a two-gallon crock with "BROWN BROTHERS" oval mark. Provenance: Donald Matties Collection. One-and-a-half-gallon, single-flower crock with restored crack on reverse, extending onto underside, where it is unrestored. One-and-a-half-gallon crock, double-flower crock with a 2 1/2" Y-shaped hairline from rim on reverse and a 2 1/2" hairline from rim on front, including some spots of staining. Two-gallon crock in excellent, essentially as-made condition.
