Stoneware Dog Bank, Ohio origin, late 19th century, molded in the form of a boxer with slot in back, Albany-slip-glazed surface, and spotted white-slip accents to the collar, teeth, and eyes. the eyes surrounded by gold-painted borders. A loss to base and a loss to end of one foot, both of which are painted over. A minor base chip to reverse. H 7 1/4".
