Three Salt-Glazed Stoneware Jars, Northeastern U.S. origin, mid to late century, two tobacco jars, one including an Albany-slip-glazed lid, both stamped "APPLEBY & HELME / 133 WATER ST.S E. COR. PINE", along with a cream jar stamped "A.G.C. DIPPLE / LEWISTOWN, PA." One tobacco jar with minor nicks to interior of rim and wear to inner rim for lid. Other tobacco jar with large network of surface lines, a few small rim chips, and wear to inner rim for lid. Lid in excellent condition, not original to jar. Dipple jar in good condition. H (of taller jar) 10 1/4".
