Half-Gallon Brooklyn, NY Stoneware Advertising Jug, New York State origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jug with tapered spout, featuring the slip-trailed cobalt advertising, "E. Kane & Co / Union St/ Brooklyn". A reglued 3/4" x 3/4" chip to spout. A chip to top of spout. Two short lines to side of spout. Handle with heavy salt residue and a shallow, in-the-firing contact mark / chip. Underside of handle with horizontal hairline, not visible on exterior.
