One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Swag Decoration, Western PA origin, probably Beaver, circa 1865, cylindrical jug with slightly-flared spout, decorated with opposing rows of brushed swags, applied over a slip coating. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Excellent, essentially as-made condition.
