Six-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Beaver, PA origin, circa 1865, semi-ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded, and applied lug handles, the surface covered in a streaky slip and decorated with an undulating, flowering vine above a flower flanked by dashes. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Excellent condition with a small glazed-over base chip on reverse.
