Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jar, Western PA origin, circa 1875, tapered jar with tooled shoulder and flared rim with wax sealer interior, the front decorated with an elaborate stenciled foliate design between freehand stripes. A few small chips on interior of rim. H 7 7/8".
