Three Glazed Redware Pitchers, American, early to mid 19th century, all of ovoid form with footed bases; two with daubed manganese decoration, Huntington, NY or Norwalk, CT origin, and one with clear lead-glazed surface and coggling to collar and body, possibly Huntington, NY or Norwalk, CT origin. Provenance: Collected in the Long Island, NY area. Shortest with heavy wear to rim, base of collar, and handle, a rim chip on reverse, and several cracks in underside extending onto base. Middle-sized pitcher with chips and wear to handle, a few base chips, and typical light surface wear to midsection. Tallest (coggled pitcher) with rim chips and wear to handle. H (of tallest) 8 1/4".
