Glazed Redware Pitcher, attributed to Jacob Medinger, Limerick Township, Montgomery County, PA, early 20th century, ovoid pitcher with footed base, heavily-ribbed handle, flared collar, and coggled molding to collar base, the surface decorated with large sponged manganese daubs and covered in a heavy lead glaze. Provenance: Dr. Raymond L. Owen Collection. Very nice condition with light wear to rim, a shallow chip to interior of rim, a minor glaze fleck to handle, and some base wear. H 7 3/4".
