Very Rare One-Gallon Southern Stoneware Jar, Stamped "W.C. ROBERTSON / Barbers Creek, P.O.", Barrow County, Georgia origin, circa 1865, cylindrical jar with rounded and tooled shoulder, and flared, semi-squared rim, the surface covered in Albany slip with overlying salt glaze, creating an appealing, mottled-green coloration. Base impressed with William C. Robertson maker's mark. A 1 1/8" rim chip with 4" hairline descending from it. A minor nick to interior of rim. H 10".
