One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1850, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied tab handles, decorated on the front and reverse with a brushed stem bearing leaves and fan-shaped flowers. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Excellent condition with a small rim chip and minuscule, glazed-over rim nick.
