Two Pieces of Western PA Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, circa 1875, a butter crock, decorated with two stripes; paired with a rare salt-glazed food mold with Albany-slip-glazed interior. Butter crock with a smooth rim chip, probably in-the-firing, and numerous small chips to molding at base of rim. Mold in excellent, essentially as-made condition. H (of mold to central tube) 5" ; Diameter (of mold) 11 1/2".
